Chapter 1 (Kat)

Kat and Akio both live in district 12. They're both desperately trying to get by, and they're both unfortunate enough to be chosen as tributes for the 61st annual hunger games. Akio views this as a death sentence, but Kat is determined to protect the people they love, and the best way they can do this is to stay alive. Brought together by this horrific twist of fate, Kat must help Akio to live, and Akio must teach Kat that this living comes with a cost.
