Dressed up as a clown, poked and pointed at while acting goofy for the crowd, Jamil had learned to swallow bitter pills of need with a happy smile. No one saw his hurt, heard the inner growls of embarrassment and humiliation, as he worked to make the audience laugh.

Smiling, goofing around and gifting balloons to children, he would be recognized as the youthful clown often seen in malls, on roads and near restaurant corners. However, no one saw the sad youth hiding behind the mask, sleeping in a shabby room after making everyone smile.

He was content in being depressed until he met her.
