PHILIP is your average Nigerian teenager. He is a final year student of Preston High school and one of the best students the school owns. But after a tragic accident that made Philip pull back into his shell, become depressed and snobbish to people well apart from his group of friends and his twin sister. The four people he had already known from birth, courtesy of their parents. JEMIMAH the new student who arrives at Preston High school due to moving away from Ibadan to Lagos and also attaining a scholarship she received, and we all know how attaining a scholarship to Preston is. An incident brought Philip and Jemimah together which made them both instantly hate each other. Meanwhile Philip already disliked Jemimah because....well there is no actual reason he just dislikes her. * * * * * "Senior Philip." I tapped him before he entered his class after debating in my head. "What?" he turned to me with a frown marring his face, hands in his pocket. Why does he always have a frown on his face like that? "I am willing to put what has happened between us in the past if you are." He was silent for a few seconds before he finally spoke up, "I don't hate you," he paused as he looked behind me, "I just don't like you." He shrugged and made his way into his class.
