Tarry didn't know anything before he was seven after an 'ascendant'. He'd get a glimpse of a memory before it disappeared. When he became Batman, he'd gotten them more frequently. It was always the same two people and his brother. After getting shot with a flash of memory, Tarry finally tells his mentor, Bruce. Leading to more questions, and a shocking truth.

This takes place in story of Welcome to Pandemonium (My other story). You can read them separately, though there might be a few things that I reference.
