(pt. 1) Star Crossed

Bruins fan reader helped Charlie around Boston during his first few months at BU, and they ended up becoming close friends. Reader sticks with Charlie through college and, of course, as he starts playing for the Bruins. Charlie develops feelings for the reader, and those feelings only get stronger, but he is wary of acting on his feelings due to how often he is away from home. At a game in Pittsburgh, the reader meets Sidney, and he can't seem to get her out of his head. He makes attempt after attempt to woo the reader, and she puts up with him due to thinking Charlie doesn't have romantic feelings for her. Her feelings are bounced back and forth between the two, and an intense rivalry ensues.
