Her name was Eleanor Aria Barlowe. She was born in the northern part of London in the district of Finchley. She lived there until the age of ten when she had to move to Manchester with her family and leave behind friends that she'd known all her life. Eleanor started to forget about the friends she once had and built up a good life in Manchester. Until one awful night. . . On December 25th 1947, when Eleanor's magical Christmas birthday was being celebrated, a bomb of the Second World War-one that was long forgotten-exploded right next to the Barlowe estate. In the midst of the heavy snowing, Eleanor saw a light in the forest. She crawled through the thick layer of snow that had gathered around the house and gently touched the light once she'd reached it. Her surroundings lit up at a rapid pace and yet, she was still emerged in foliage. However, this foliage became greener by the second and all of a sudden, there was no snow anymore. She'd stranded in another world with no way out. . .
