Earth is at it's worse when a missile is dropped in New York by an enemy that is unknown. Not long after Belle Black is left to try and keep her 7 year old little bother alive in the harsh radioactive world they now live in.

Having to move until they find the best possible place where they can stay for good; Belle and her brother Jay must learn who to trust, how to live in the harsh environment and how to stay alive.
