Chapter I

The Eastern Roman Empire has become a notable power in the Old World, though they still have to conquer many of the former Imperial territory. Meanwhile, on Italy, tensions grow and grow as time passes; the Pope, the King of the Lombards and Andronikos seem to be rivals now.
