Dream's face looms inches from mine, his expression hidden behind the painted eyes on his mask. "Nice try, little princess," he murmurs dangerously. "Need I remind you that I'm the one in charge here?"
I stare him in the eyes, or at least, where I think his eyes should me. "Need I ask you why I should care?"
He straightens, chuckling. "Because your life is in my hands right now, and I can do whatever I want with it."
