Storybooke is where she lived with her adoptive mother figure, Regina. She knew about Regina's past, everyone in Storybrooke knew about Regina being the Evil Queen, Clarissa was able to see past all that and look into her adoptive mothers eyes and tell all she wanted was to be loved.

Henry was her adoptive brother. He always see the good in everyone, no matter how evil, or broken they are. He disappears suddenly, leaving Clarissa, Regina, Emma, Snow, Charming, Rumple, and Hook, all searching high and low for the boy.

They find a way to get Henry back, but Magic as powerful as this, always comes with a price. A price that Clarissa will suffer with.
