When Covener High decides to go on a camping trip, the students are excited to go somewhere out of school.

Mr. Dawson, the coach of the school's football team and also the father of Ally Dawson, head cheerleader, decides to tag along with his daughter to make sure she's safe. But of course, the coach's favorite is the quarterback, Austin Moon.

Of course, they know each other. She is the coaches daughter and on the cheerleading squad and he is the quarterback. You could say "they're crushes", considering they act like a couple whenever they're around each other but the label is "just friends".

Mr. Dawson doesn't worry, he trusts the two.
