Jane Monroe, a young virologist pre-apocalypse and a badass who's in love with an ex-pizza deliverer post-apocalypse. During the onset of the outbreak Jane and her colleague Jenner who worked in the CDC attempted to find a cure to reverse the outbreak however the situation only worsened despite their efforts and many of her colleagues either fled the CDC to be with their families or committed suicide. During this time, they both lost all contact with the outside world and was unaware that anyone else was still alive. That was until a group of people showed up at their facility begging for help. It gave Jane hope and she let them in. Who knew Jenner had something up his sleeve? Who knew Jane would end up with a group of people she barley knew?

Who knew Jane would get caught in the crossfire?....
