#Old_Christmastide

Old Christmastide, if you don't know what that is, I'll explain. Christmas, Allhallowtide (Old Halloween), Thanksgivingtide, New Years Tide, the old Holiday of Love (which we now celebrate on Valentine's Day instead), and Eastertide itself, were all celebrated in one on Easter, or Old Eastertide.

It was to commemorate that Jesus the Christ was eternally sacrificed to be born one spring and reborn another (He rose from the grave, finalizing His Atonement, on the First Day of the week after Passover, as in Easter Sunday), and His purpose for doing so.
