Firstly she meets Cecily who turns to be her best friend at the end of the story. Then she meets Cal, she grows a crush on the bullied boy. She then noticed his eyes are on somebodies girlfriend, she choose to ignore it even though it upsets her . She notice everyday that Cal being pushed around while Cecily gets called names by being a homeschooler before coming to a real high school. Things in Val life gets in between worse and better all at once. Take a sip every time you see the word tilted.
