It's the winter of 1779, and the beginning of 1780. Alex and lots of other men are waiting out the winter in New Jersey to begin fighting again come spring. With a strong spirit and mind, Hamilton craves glory and a name for himself that doesn't have to do with his past, but he also longs for a loving wife... In the meantime, Elizabeth Schuyler and her sister, Peggy, are going to visit their aunt Gertrude Cochran in Morristown, New Jersey. Eliza is set on the Revolution's cause and in love with the new attitude that is America. She and her family are one of the highest established families in New York, and yet she is still unmarried. Her older sister, Angelica, eloped a few years ago. Peggy was in love with her beau, Stephan Van Rensselaer. But Eliza? Despite a small crush on a Mr. John Andre or maybe an admiration for another, she was lacking the romantic tale she'd craved as a young girl. Yet, she was 22 now.
