Kyoko Tsukino figured that the kendo club at her college would just be a bunch of sweaty boys hitting each other with sticks and goofing off. It was what she was used to after all. But little does she know that this club has a bit more to it: a secret that Kyoko doesn't realize until she's already involved. A group of people with seemingly unnatural powers has become active in the streets of Tokyo. Known as demons, they go around stealing and murdering without mercy or hesitation, causing Tokyo to become one of the biggest crime cities in the world. There is only one group so far that has come to stop them, one that the government hasn't learned about. Another group with supernatural gifts, one that Kyoko has gotten herself so closely wrapped into by chance alone. We call them.. the Demon Slayers. This is a Rengoku x OC story that does not follow the plot of the anime as it is set in a modern era. This story will include triggering topics, such as but not limited to: Violence Abuse Assault (in various forms) Mental Illness (and it's side effects) Gore If you feel uncomfortable in any way by what I have written, feel free to skip until you are more comfortable reading.
