Prologue

This dystopian romance takes place in a world where love doesn't exist. Where females are groomed to be the 'perfect' woman for their male counterparts. Taken at birth from their mothers and given to Barons for grooming they are brainwashed to embody the man's ideal fantasy.

Billie is in the process of being groomed when she discovers an old book about the forbidden word, love, and it opens her eyes to the unknown. It doesn't help that The Baron's son is different, kinder than any man she's ever met before. Maybe there's something to this unknown feeling, one, that neither of them of witnessed before.

How can one feel love when the word doesn't exist? Will love conquer all or will it merely stay forbidden?
