Prologue

Life is too short to linger on mistakes but what happens if you're trapped in the consequence of a decision that seemed best at the time? What if that mistake refuses to let you go, to grow from it and move on? What if that mistake keeps you trapped and caged in a body that no longer feels like your own.

Freedom comes with a price. And sometimes the best thing to do is gamble it all for even the slightest chance of making it out on the other side... broken pieces and all.
