At the same time, as World War l comes hitting down, Amity Blight realizes it is a life or death situation. Her father, age 53, with a bad knee, and half-blind is required to take part in the war. Being the good daughter she is, at the ripe age of 17, she enlists herself under her father's name. Will these two brave souls make it out alive? Or will they go down fighting for some things they wouldn't expect a war to bring up? There will be trigger warnings at the beginnings of chapters!!
