The House is in charge of all citizens in the country of Doldgen. A place where citizens learn to fight to defend their country that they all despise. All people have their own defenders, as they are called, to protect them. Everyone is branded with a tattoo across their wrist at birth, but it is only visible to you and your defender once you turn eighteen. It determines your fate, what Branch you must move to, your new family, and your soul mate.

Defenders are the highest level of citizens besides the president, and are chosen because they lack emotion, don't grow attached, and are incredibly strong.
