Not everything is always as it seems. Christmas is generally seen as a festive time, but with hatred and loss the happiest time for some can be the worst for others. That’s not really how I feel, I’ve experience negativity around Christmas but it is still my favourite time of year, but this isn’t my story. This is the story of my friend Christina Massy, (the irony behind her name is a curse I am all too familiar with), but unlike me, she experienced a bad Christmas and now she’s giving Scrooge and the Grinch a run for their money. Just even though she hates Christmas we are both elves at a Santa’s grotto, but everything else in her life is against the season and festivity. Due to her hatred of the time as well as love, will she ever be able to fall for our fellow elf Oliver, and will she get the Christmas romance most girls would love to have? But after all Christmas isn’t all candy canes and mistletoe.
