War is coming, and time is running out.

Kevin doesn't know this. Despite the boiling global tensions, he dwells on his looming graduation with uncertainty, disillusionment, and the haunting memories of his disgraced father as he struggles to imagine the man he himself will grow into.

When war arrives, Kevin, his mom, and several classmates barely make it out alive after their city is shredded by a horrific bombardment unlike anything seen before. In the ensuing evacuation, they are caught in the crossfire as a catastrophic invasion bears down on the West Coast.

Those who survive find that it is only the beginning of their harrowing ordeal.
