James and Emily are best friends and like most best friendships made up of two people of the opposite genders, one has a crush on the other.

James has a crush on Emily but he does not tell her because she has a boyfriend. He decides to tell when Emily broke with her boyfriend but she starts dating again.

Emily tells James she has a crush on him but James is already over the crush he had on her.

Emily moves to study abroad and the two lose touch with each other.
