Prologue

Nikki is a mobster's daughter and that was never a problem until she turns 4 and her father is killed. Now she's got a major target on her back.

So her mother Jennifer and her father's best friend Joseph and his wife Marianna decide that when Nikki and their son Theo turn 18 they will be married so that Theo can keep her safe while he takes over the mob. The two kids will be brought up as friends and then one day married. But what happened when Theo is a jerk and starts to hate Nikki?
