I whispered against his soft lips. "Thea, things will change if we do this," He warned. "Things can't get any worse, right?" I said teasingly, because come on a dead sister, unloving parents, and falling for him. It really couldn't get worse, he just didn't want to admit it. "Aaron, can you please stop being such a good guy and take advantage of the opportunity standing in front of you?" He leaned in and kissed me softly, a tear escaped my eye...in that moment I knew his answer. "Thea-" I cut him off, "I get it Aaron, please just stop talking." I said in a broken whisper. "It's not that I don't want to, but not like this, not here, I care about you too much to have you regret it tomorrow." He said and silent tears continued to fall as he just held me like he always had when this happened.
