'A fun thing' love was to him, he knew it quite well; the challenges; the hardships; the rules. He was no stranger. Ricky was always a player in high school, heck, he'd dated almost every girl in his grade. Though deep down, he knew, that wasn't love.
"Love doesn't exist." he told himself. Then, he met Them.
And yet, here he was, longing for one single person. Day after day, night after night. An aching in his chest and a beat in his heart. He thought he knew love, but whatever this feeling was... It was new to him. It needed no words.

"I won't hurt you." He tried to promise them.
...Though did he even believe that himself?
