So listen: Things never went like they are supposed to, that was clear.
It's like, Murphy's law or something stupid like that.
Which explains that it wasn't his fault that people started to think he stands over the law and the rules.
It somehow evolved into that notion that whenever Anthony Edward Stark was concerned, people got what they wanted, no questions asked.
