When Gracelyn moves to the small town of Forbes, she realizes that money and social reputations mean everything to the people who live there.. When she meets Zach they spend almost the entire summer together.

The real problem is when school starts, Grace finds out that Zach is practically royalty amongst 'old money' in this town. He was totally cool over summer but during the school year she meets a different side of him that she doesn't really like that much.
