Life is filled with ups and downs. For Tay Pup, it seems all she's ever gone is down. From shifting into a human at ten to watching Mrs. Charlotte, the only person she's ever trusted, pass away, Tay does her best to keep a positive outlook on life. So when Tay finds out that Mrs. Charlotte left a will for her with a big sum of money and a whole house to herself? She couldn't be more ecstatic! With little belongings in tow she heads to Oregon to try and start the new life Mrs. Charlotte wanted for her. Except, the little town of Tinder, Oregon wasn't what she thought. In fact, it would seem that little Tay Pup was just like the people who lived there in more ways than one... Excerpt: "You will never get away from what we are, my love," he said as his hand wandered up my body until it firmly wrapped around my throat. "What are we then?" My shaking voice was unconvincing to even myself. It was hard to concentrate with the molten lava that was erupting everywhere he touched me. I felt like I was drowning, but in the best way possible. "We are immortal. We are everlasting. We are eternal."
