The Godly Twins were a legend around small town Derrider, Louisiana. It was told that when the world was consumed by the seven sins that the sun and the moon would fall and reappear on earth. The legend stopped there, no telling or telling why. Everyone thought it was just that though a myth that generation tells generations as a fun little story.

No one was expecting it when the sun and the moon did fall. The world was plunged into darkness when the sun fell in the middle of the day and the moon in the middle of the night. They reappeared after a day but they seemed dim somehow.
