Dearest Gael,

I'd promised, the day life became a fair game would be the day I'd write about it.

Unfortunately, that day never came.

I remember you say, 'Fear is the phantom of mind and fairness is the phantom of life.'

But, never did you once admit that you feared life as much as I phantomized fairness.

You were right.

We weren't much alike.

But, we had one thing in common.

We both knew pain.
