Chapter One

Atla is a criminal. And so are The Blades, the name of her new family of assassins. As a Blade, it's Atla's job to protect the world from evil people - killing her marks that have wronged their society-though the money doesn't hurt either. When Alekai stages a coup and corrupts the new High King, Atla must prove that The Blades are not just killing machines but a group bringing justice to the unfortunate when the world has failed them.
