It's Greg's first year in middle grade. He can't wait! But it doesn't go well. Patty makes the teacher ban Greg from attending the music video contest (with original songs) by something that she did. And the first day of school, it's gross food in the school cafeteria. Can it be worse? Yes! He gets ditched by his crush, Holly, just because of a daydream. But most important of all, he wants to be in the contest...
