Born during the Archon War, (Y/N) was born as the only child in a poor family. At a young age, his father taught him how to fight, how to protect himself and his future family. Though his father was adept at it, he never taught anyone as there wasn't a market for it due to Liyue being protected by the great Morax.

One day a strange meteor strikes nearby (Y/N)'s house while he was practising on a wooden dummy. He and his father saw it as an opportunity to help get some Mora for their family by selling the mineral chunks that might have broken during the impact. They quickly grabbed their bags and ran to the crash site as fast as they could.
