It's always the same, Y/n ends up in the demon realm in some way or another and creates a romance with Hunter while using magic and going on adventures.
But... what if Hunter ends up in the human realm instead?
What if he meets a human- a normal human? Someone who knows nothing of magic, or anything of that nature. Something new, a fresh start? No more grimwalker, golden guard, literal ghosts of all the different people he used to be hanging over his head.
Just Hunter, nothing or nobody else.
He's distant at first but they grow close, he learns the ways of humans and how to enjoy himself. They are practically attached at the hip, the closer they get the closer he gets to spilling the truth about everything.
Nothing can stay a secret forever, feelings catch up with you and so do lies.
What happens when Luz and the others show up?
How will they make it back?
Does he want to go back?
Will his 'uncle' forgive him?
Does he want him to?
What's to happen to his new friend if he leaves...?
What's to happen if he stays?
Is he happy just being friends?
