Margaret had arrived almost 6 months ago now to visit her friend Natasha. After being rescued from the Red Room when she was just a young teen, Natasha had found her a family nearby so she could keep an eye on her. She had drifted around, even finished college, obtaining a psychology degree. But she wasn't happy or fulfilled. She wanted to do more. So she showed up at the compound to ask Natasha to let her stay, to let her prove herself. It took a few months, but they eventually trusted her enough to let her become an Avenger. Everyone it seemed, but Steve. He never accepted her, and she didn't know why. She respected him and what he stood for. But he never saw her as anything more than a child.
