A boy named Alex Arch. Played video games during his childhood until in the year 2022 at age 16, He gave VR MMO RPGS a try with it's first release game: Sword Art Online but fate is cruel as the game becomes a death game.

Join him to his journey as he's a newbie while trying to fight and finds his way home before death could take him. As he is named Monarch, and with someone who's fighting alongside him is a girl named Koharu.
