All Suzie wanted was to make a real home for her son, something she never had. The cozy little community of Evans Creek was perfect until she bumped into a man leaving the bank...right after he robbed it.

As the only person who could identify him, he terrorized Suzie with escalating threats while he hid in town.

When he finally made his escape, he kidnapped Suzie and decided to keep her...for awhile anyway.

Suzie had to keep her wits, stay alive and watch for an escape before he decided that her time was up.
