Being a teenager isn't easy. Being a teenager especially isn't easy when you're a girl, living in Sheffield with her single Mum and an obnoxious older brother. This was the case for Brielle Helders, younger sister of the popular Matt Helders.

Brought up on the notion that Brielle would need her older brother to help her through life, she spends as much time with him as she can and even finds herself wound up into his friend group.

In the music infatuated friend group, one life-long friend of Matt's catches Brielle's eye, and she's sure she catches his too.

What happens when an unexpected turn of event occurs and young love takes its toll on Brielle... with someone who she can't have?
