Silvia Brown grew up in the Projects but do not think once that she is anything like the stereotype "hood chick". She makes it her duty to not be anything like the people her neighborhood is associated with and especially nothing like her mother.

She will run into hardships, betrayals, get hurt and stand back up again. A true New Yorker . What hurts the most is not knowing that she is loved. But God has a plan. She always does.
