Merlin's Tower

"Dealing with Racism, Monsters and Opened Secret Chambers, (Y/N)'s Second Year was a roller coaster of emotions. From total glee in winning his very first Quidditch Match, to complete and uncontained rage towards Pure-Blooded supremacy, to total disdain for a worthless Fraud of a Professor, to an absolute, soul-crushing heartbreak at seeing his best friend, Hermione Granger, petrified at the hands of a Basilisk, he didn't know that one year could be so bad, but he hadn't experienced anything yet.

Being hit with the Killing Curse, and somehow surviving, (Y/N) awoke within the Chamber of Secrets near the end of the School Year, wondering what had happened. Soon, Dumbledore's pet Phoenix, Fawkes, arrived with the Sorting Hat, and within it came the Sword of Godric Gryffindor, which (Y/N) used to slay the Basilisk in a blind fury for what it did to his best friend.

Reunited with a now unpetrified Hermione Granger, he was the happiest he had ever been at getting her back. Both of them had signed up to take every class at Hogwarts for their Third Year, and whether that was a good idea or not, time would tell.

Upon arriving back at the Leaky Cauldron, he waited for nightfall when he used the fireplace in the main bar area to travel to Merlin's Tower, which he was told to do from reading one of Merlin's personally written books. Once he arrived inside the tower, he was surprised by a long-bearded Wizard, who claims to be Merlin himself."
