Their minds have been broken, memories replaced by new ones that never existed. Her emotions have been shattered, broken down so she is no more than a husk of a human being. All he knows is what he is told.

Yet every time they meet, a little piece of the past is recovered. A past full of happiness, a past full of hope, and light, and love. Just one fleeting moment, before it's washed away again, dragged beneath the waves of a person who no longer exists.
