Hegan has been set adrift. After several attempts on his life, his father, King Torin of Urbai has sent him abroad to live with relatives in a neighboring country in hopes that he may grow up in relative safety. When a member of the new court is found dead, however, all eyes turn to him for an explanation. It is now up to him to clear his name, for it's not only his safety that is at stake, but his very life.
