Seventeen year old, Cavonte Carter has a dream of becoming the next big thing. The goal of becoming a rapper which is a one out of a million chance. Almost every black guy you know says he gonna make it in the music industry. Some actually do. Cavonte has to face obstacles that's getting away of his dream. His mom is rarely home so he has to take care of his sister since their Dad died. The difference between a real friend and the fake ones. Money issues. School and to top it all off pressure. Fifteen year old, Santana Diego, has known Cavonte most of her life. He's her brothers best friend. When she moves back in to live with her Dad and stepmother after being away for two years, old feelings surface. She has always had a crush on Cavonte since she was eleven years old.
