Catori At'eed came to Canada with her grandfather expecting a normal life after her parents died. On what she thought was a sweet 16 (which her Native American ancestors called The Change) her life takes a turn for the worst. After losing Malachai, a beautiful guy she met at school that year, she has to choose between getting him back and fulfilling her duty. Only what she doesnt know, is that it may be easier than she thinks.
