Chapter 1

When it comes to stories, whether real or not, one would expect a happy ending.

"I'm writing a new book, it's about love. I just don't know where to start."
"Why bother?" he scoffed, taking another gulp of beer. You watched with an unpleasant look. You have never touched alcohol. "Your books are all the same."
"What?"
He placed the glass down, the condensation ran down the side of the glass. "Your books are all the same. It's always some sort of tragedy and there's never a happy ending. They're just as boring as you."
