Shake Street follows the lives of 4 teens growing up in the roughest neighbor hood in their state and a their rough transition into highschool.

THE KIDS:

Valentina "Val" Murano: Smart as a whip, stiff as board on the path straight to an ivy league school...until band camp.

Eji Mai-Song: Kind, dorky, and often ditzy rambunctious boy with a bright future and not much of a social life...until band camp.

Ydelya "Dee" Itoya: Quiet, reserved girl with her heart set on a fairytale ending for herself... until layoffs.

Dominic "Dom" Murano: cousin to Val, happy, outgoing, jokester... until L.A
