1: The Task

All she wants is to live her life in peace. But a series of unfortunate events places her on a whirlwind journey, and she must determine who she is and how much of a difference she can make... Mireille is a young, orphaned seamstress of great skill in a remote village. When the Queen of the realm learns of Mireille's talents, she demands that Mireille become a Royal Seamstress and leave her village behind. When Mireille refuses on account of the Queen's tyrannical nature, trouble ensues, the Crown Prince becomes involved, and she learns that she has never been who she thought she was. With the help of her best friend, Christelle, she finds the family she lost and gains the opportunity to help the Crown Prince, with whom she has become close, achieve his dearest wish: To become King and save his country from his mother's tyranny. However, many challenges await, and the Crown Prince's journey to the throne is fraught with peril, especially once other countries and rulers become involved.
