Middle School AU

Mikasa: I had seen her a couple times before. Her soft blonde hair, tied in a tight bun. She had pale skin, cold dagger like eyes. Her face was never joyful in the slightest. As much as i wanted to pity her, i couldn't do it.

Annie: I sat alone in the corner, hearing the popular kids cheer as they kicked a ball. They seemed so joyful, yet i felt little to no happiness. Instead i let my body sink into itself, slumped. All alone.
