Chris Moran is done with drama. He buys a hut on the outskirts of the small town River Hills, and occupies his time by renovating it. He wants a quiet life after all the turbulence he's been through in the army and with his family.

A quiet life. Alone.

But the River Hills hardware store is owned by a man whose health is declining, which means Chris' supply store will be managed by the owner's daughter-Summer Bailey.

She's full of life, and he's full of shit.

And even when he tries his best to stay away, he finds himself going back to Bailey's, just to see her.
